Update

So I am one of the worst bloggers ever! I really meant to update once a week, but before I knew it it had been a month. So here is a quick update on what has been going on at the Roberts's this month. Leland has been going out of town quite a lot. He went on his first turkey hunt earlier this month, which he said would have been really successful if they had seen any turkeys. He has been going on camp outs almost every week end trying to get the 14-16 year old boys in our ward ready for a week long back packing trip that they will be going on in June. He has also been leaving a lot for work. We miss him when he is gone, but at least he is doing something that he enjoys.

Chance and I went on a little trip of our own. I had some students competing in the state National History Day competition that was held in Albuquerque. It was a two night trip, we rode to the competition on a school bus - Chance loved it! We went to the natural history museum and the children's museum. I was a little bit worried that Chance would be a little bit hard to handle on a three hour bus ride - but he was a trooper. He didn't even have any potty accidents! One of my students won third place - qualifying him for the national competition. We were very excited.
Unfortunately all of the events were not good news, Chance contracted a lung infection about two weeks ago. It was just about the saddest thing ever - he wouldn't eat and couldn't sleep. All he wanted to do was sit on my lap. I enjoyed the cuddle time, but I am very happy that he is all better and no longer has to use an inhaler. Of course, I got the cold the next week, but luckily we are now both in good health.
We had our first ultra sound for the new baby and I just have to say that I have the cutest kids in the whole world! (as soon as I figure out how to use the scanner I will put some pictures on the blog) This baby is going to be a mover and a shaker - it was doing flips, somersaults, kicking and punching during the entire ultra sound - even the nurse was surprised how much the guys was moving around. Leland says that means it must be a boy. I don't know if I am convinced of that yet ( I am holding out hope for a girl, but Leland says he doesn't make girls).
